ChatReady.io ("we", "us", "our") is an AI search visibility platform that helps businesses monitor and improve how they appear across AI search engines. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What We Collect

  • Account information: email address and password when you register
  • Profile information: display name, phone number, and avatar if you choose to provide them
  • Website URLs: the URLs you submit for analysis
  • Website content: publicly available content from URLs you submit, crawled to perform analyses
  • Analysis results: brand monitor data, AI readiness audit scores, action plans, and product optimization results generated for your sites
  • Payment information: processed securely by Stripe — we never store your card details directly
  • Usage data: pages viewed, features used, session duration, IP address, browser type, and device information
  • Communications: messages sent through in-app chat and support interactions

How We Use Your Data

  • To provide the ChatReady.io service — running analyses, generating reports, and tracking your AI visibility
  • To process payments and manage your subscription
  • To send you analysis results, monitoring alerts, and important account notifications
  • To improve and develop new features based on aggregate usage patterns
  • To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse of the Service
  • To provide customer support

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate ChatReady.io. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function:

  • Stripe — payment processing. Your billing information is handled directly by Stripe under their privacy policy.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (account verification, password resets, monitoring reports).
  • OpenAI (ChatGPT) — AI search engine querying and content analysis.
  • Anthropic (Claude) — AI search engine querying and content analysis.
  • Google (Gemini) — AI search engine querying.
  • Perplexity AI — AI search engine querying and competitor research.
  • Microsoft (Copilot) — AI search engine querying.
  • Neon — PostgreSQL database hosting.
  • Vercel — application hosting and serverless functions.
  • Upstash — rate limiting via Redis.
  • Firecrawl — website crawling for analysis.

When we send your website URLs to AI engines for brand monitoring, the AI providers may process that data under their own terms. We do not send your personal account information to AI providers.

Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you logged in. These are essential cookies required for the application to function. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

Data Retention

We retain your account data and analysis results for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will remove your personal data and analysis results within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained for product improvement. Backups containing your data may persist for up to 90 days after deletion.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure password hashing, HTTP security headers, and access controls. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

  • Access: you can view all your data within the ChatReady.io dashboard
  • Export: you can export your analysis results as PDF
  • Delete: you can request full account deletion by contacting us
  • Correction: you can update your account information at any time in Settings
  • Opt-out: you can disable marketing emails in your account settings

If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have additional rights under the GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Children's Privacy

ChatReady.io is not intended for use by anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the application. The "Effective" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
